A low resistance polypropylene honeycomb pre-filter for HVAC fresh air systems, designed to take coarse loading off the primary filter while adding minimal static pressure to the air path. Reusable, washable and cut to your unit's dimensions.
Fresh air handling brings in whatever is outside. Putting a washable pre-filter ahead of the main filter extends primary media life and stabilises pressure drop across the unit, without asking the supply fan for more work.
Primary HVAC filters are expensive and they load fastest when they are doing coarse work they were never specified for. A pre-filter takes that coarse fraction cheaply and washably, leaving the primary filter to do the job it was chosen for.
Anything added to the air path costs static pressure, and HVAC fans have limited reserve. This panel uses a high open area honeycomb specifically to keep that cost low; if your unit has a tight static budget, tell us the figure and we will size the panel to stay inside it.
We cut to the panel dimensions of most standard air handling units, including cut-outs and fixing holes for common frame systems. Send the unit model or the frame drawing and we will confirm what we can supply before production.

It adds some resistance, as any filter does, but the honeycomb grid is designed for low pressure drop. Tell us the design airflow and allowable static and we will specify accordingly.
That depends on your outdoor air quality. The pre-filter takes the coarse fraction, so downstream media loads more slowly and intervals between changes lengthen.
