A washable polypropylene honeycomb screen for range hoods and commercial kitchen grease filtration. Grease loads onto the cell walls and washes out, so the screen returns to service instead of being discarded.
Metal baffles need degreasing and eventually corrode; disposable media costs money every cycle. Polypropylene handles grease and aggressive cleaning without degrading, and stands up to commercial kitchen wash routines.
Metal baffles work, but they demand degreasing and eventually succumb to it. Disposable media avoids the cleaning and replaces it with a recurring bill. A washable PP screen takes neither penalty: grease loads on, washes off, done.
Grease capture always trades against airflow, and in a kitchen losing extraction means losing heat, smoke and odour control at the cooking surface. The honeycomb grid keeps restriction low so capture happens without strangling extraction.
