A high airflow washable air filter built on a honeycomb grid that keeps pressure drop low while still intercepting coarse airborne loading. Air moves through it freely; the cell walls catch what needs catching.
Low resistance is a running-cost feature, not a spec-sheet nicety. A freer-flowing pre-filter means the fan delivers closer to its design volume instead of fighting the filter, and the panel costs nothing to maintain beyond a rinse.
Restrictive filtration is not a one-time purchase decision, it is a permanent operating cost. Every increment of resistance forces the fan to work harder for the same delivered volume, and that premium is paid every hour the plant runs.
The honeycomb grid holds a high open area without giving up stiffness, so the panel can be substantial enough to span an opening while still letting air through freely. That combination is difficult to get from flat perforated sheet or dense fibrous media.
