This PP honeycomb filter screen is a washable polypropylene air filter panel built on a through-hole honeycomb grid. It catches dust, lint and coarse particles while letting air pass with very little resistance, and it goes back into service after a simple water rinse.
Made from corrosion-resistant polypropylene rather than paper or metal, the panel suits damp, greasy or chemically aggressive air streams. Size, thickness and colour are cut to your specification, so it drops into existing frames without modifying the housing.
A PP honeycomb filter screen sits at the front of an air stream and does the coarse work: catching dust, lint, fibres and debris before they reach coils, fans or finer filter stages. The panel is a single piece of extruded polypropylene hollow board with a through-hole honeycomb grid, so there is no media to change out and no consumable to buy on a schedule.
Paper and card media lose strength the moment they get damp, and metal mesh corrodes in greasy or chemically aggressive air. Polypropylene is indifferent to moisture, grease, acids and alkalis, and it is light enough that handling and shipping cost less. The material is also odour-free and non-toxic, which matters for occupied spaces.
The panel is produced to your dimensions rather than sold as a fixed size you have to work around. Give us the opening, tell us the airflow and what you need to catch, and we will specify thickness and supply samples so you can validate the fit before committing to a volume order.

Cleaning frequency depends entirely on how dusty the environment is. Rinse the panel when you notice airflow dropping or visible loading on the cell walls, then air-dry and reinstall.

PP is non-toxic and odour-free. Food-grade raw material is available on request where the application calls for it.
